Our mission


CastCeramics empowers visual artists by providing them with advanced skills and technological tools, ensuring their work remains relevant and competitive in a globalized art world while celebrating European cultural heritage.



Project goals


✅ Create an original ceramic collection inspired by participating cultures.

✅ Organize immersive hands-on workshops in three different countries.

✅ Promote artistic and cultural heritage through international exhibitions.

✅ Introduce 3D printing and digital tools into ceramic arts and crafts. 


👥 Who we are


This itinerant residency is co-funded by the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union and implemented by: MOZI Foundation (Coordinator, Poland), CAFI APS Italy (Italy), IRARU (Austria).


Our artist residency is not just any residency—it is an itinerant residency!

What does this mean? The 12 selected participants (4 from each country—Italy, Austria, and Poland) will embark on a one-month journey across these three countries, taking part in specialized workshops hosted by each organization.


🌿 In Tuscany, Italy, participants will immerse themselves in traditional ceramic techniques and hands-on workshops. 

🏛️ In Vienna, Austria, they will explore heritage, design, and digital software/3D-printing, gaining valuable insights into the intersection of tradition and technology. 

🔬 In Poland, at the headquarters of the project coordinator, the Mozi Foundation, artists will have access to a well-equipped ceramics studio with 3D printing technology to design and create their own ceramic works of art.


  • Locations: Montepulciano (Italy), Vienna (Austria), and Gdynia (Poland)

  • Duration: August 31 – September 30, 2025 (including travel days)

  • Cost: Fully funded – No application or participation fees!


📌 What’s Included? 


✔️ Accommodation throughout the residency

 ✔️ Full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) 

✔️ All travel between the three countries 

✔️ Workshops with expert mentors 

✔️ No participation costs—this program is fully funded! 

✔️ A financial stipend of €875, paid upon successful completion of the residency

✔️ Exhibition in Italy, Austria and Poland to showcase their artworks

✔️ Europass Certificate upon completion
